Hold My Chalice at Substack

As anyone who’s read a Hymn By Hymn entry, you know that I have opinions.

I mentioned this list and some of my opinions to a colleague, who remarked “watch out! Kimberley’s going in! Hold her beer!” to which I jokingly replied, “no, hold my chalice.”

And a series title emerged.

So. Go on over to Substack, where you’ll see opinion pieces on topics such as the tyranny of Sunday morning, a consideration of the transient and the permanent in UUism, engaging inspiration, young queer women in ministry, what our fears keep us from, the problems of capitalism and individualism, and more.

I am an entrepreneurial minister, which means I am a freelancer, and every part of my income comes from the work I do. The Hymn by Hymn Project was and is a labor of love, but I now am incurring increasing costs for hosting the site.

If everyone who visited gave just $5, those costs would be covered in a single week.

Whether you give once or monthly, your generosity will keep Hymn by Hymn free and available to to the tens of thousands of people who benefit from it.

Please support the project!
